Quilt for Cindy in ultra modern style.
I just couldn't help doing old fashioned feathers in the white areas and strait lines in the vibrant colored blocks.
Small sailboat quilt for Mary
I know you cant see the quilting very well.
It's very simple, lines in the water and boat and clouds in the sky!

Had loads of fun quilting this baby quilt for Mary, one of my students.
In the foliage the are owls quilted in the same style as the fabric.

Girlfriend, Kathy from California sen me this top to finish for her.
I'm pleased with the outcome and she paid me twice what I asked for the quilting!
She's great anyway.
In our early days we went to Tahoe every weekend to ski, had a blast.

Two Baby quilts done for Anne for a set of girl twins.
Very modern look so I wanted to quilt in modern style.
Had to really think.......

Pretty log cabin quilt for Cindy who wanted to buy my left over beginner kit.

I make my kit with strips for my beginners.
They finish this lap quilt and do their own straight line quilting.
I pick the fabric out of my stash and sell the kit for $20 and $60 for the 6 week class 3 hours a week.
I know their very first quilt will be nice because I picked the fabric.
When we do the second quilt I teach them how to pick fabric.
Beautifully done double wedding ring quilt pieced by the mother of two sisters in my beginning quilt class.
I love to hear about their mother and how the loved her and to watch them interact. They too love each other!
I forgot to take a finished picture.

Large quilt for Cindy done on the longarm with a pantograph that I designed and copied onto freezer paper.
I'm thinking about making a tutorial on how to do your own desgins for pantographs and how to transfer them onto freezer paper.

Quilt for Debbie in my class.
Had lots of fun quilting it!

My memory quilt
for my son out of his fathers shirts.
Really don't like working with plaids!

The quilt was part of a charity effort of our quilt guild. They gathered them and sent them to a central location for quilts up north. I pieced and quilted one of them and the other was already pieced so i just quilted it on my longarm.
Haven't used my longarm since,
But I vow to get back to all I did before my husband passed away.
I'm bound and determined because I know he would want that.
My husband is smiling down at me today because he knows I will get through this!

I've pin-basted 4 small quilts that have been UFO's for years.
So now I'm quilting them on my JUKI sitting down.
You can view them on my etsy site, DelauneQuiltDesigns.
Three are done with one to go.................
Then I will be longarming again..............
